2004年のショーからピックアップされたライブ盤。どっしりとした迫力のあるショーを楽しめる。特に"November Spawned A Monster"と"Bigmouth Strikes Again"は圧巻。パティ・スミスのカバー曲"Redondo Beach"は、彼女の数倍フェミニンな歌い方に唖然、脱帽。非常にCampyだ。
 また"Let Me Kiss You" "Friday Mourning" "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me"のようなスローナンバーは、声に壮年期ならではの哀切さが加わり、若い頃より更に趣深い。

 タイトルは04年12月18日のアールズコート公演からの音源となっているが、実際には同年ツアーの他会場からの音源で修復されている曲もあるそうだ。以下、passionsjustlikemine.comより引用。

-As the title suggests, this album was recorded at London's Earls Court on 18 December 2004.
However, although it features mainly this date, when Morrissey's vocals were not the best the recording was patched with segments from other British dates from the same leg of the tour (Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton and Dublin). Similarly, the chit-chat with fans in the front rows, a few biting comments and the allusions to the upcoming Christmas holiday were dropped or replaced with banter from those other dates. Some songs such as "Shoplifters Of The World Unite" were also slightly sped up. - quoted from
